Corporate Experience / Team away Days - near London in the Surrey Hills (Enquiry)
Bring your team together whilst on a journey towards better wellbeing. Boost your employee engagement and motivation. Help them de-stress with some outdoors and take part in learning a new craft. With you, we’ll tailor an experience day to suit your team. Often teams will be in groups 8-20 employees depending the activities. Choose one or more crafts e.g. Spoon Carving, Basket Weaving, Botanical Printing, IPhone photography. We’ll host you on our farm in the lovely Surrey Hills and put on a rustic fireside lunch. Generally we offer weekday events.
Group sizes 6-12 depending on the craft or n. instructors. Av. Price £80-170 pp, depending on duration, n. Activities, number of people & type of craft. We also often team up with other locals to offer complimentary sessions such as Forest Bathing or guided walks. We are happy to tailor an experience that’s just right for your team.

Here at Joy Farms we offer businesses the chance to bring small teams together to spend the day away from the office. We help them de-stress with a dose of the outdoors and take part in learning a new craft.
Our craft studio is set on our 14 acre farm and enables staff to soak up nature whilst engaging in an activity.
We tailor experience day to suit the business, often with groups of 8-10 employees at a time. Businesses can choose one or more beginner-friendly crafts like spoon carving, Botanical printing, willow Basket weaving, Flower arranging, wreath making. We host the activity on our farm in the lovely Surrey Hills and put on a rustic fireside lunch.
As well as the listed upcoming courses, we have a number of experts in their craft that we can arrange subjects include:
Greenwood spoon carving, bowl turning, stool making etc.
Bushcraft skills - including fire making & Baking bread on the open fire.
Foraging - local Surrey woodland walk and learn what’s edible
Art including botanical printing, botanical journaling, iPhone photography, Charcoal & pigment making from materials foraged from the farm
As well as the crafts, we can also complement the day with activities like Forest bathing and Sound baths.
If you have a specific guest teacher in mind, we can discuss offering a facilitation service. We host the event and collaborate with the talent of your choice.
If you already have a craft or activity in mind, we have an extensive network and look to source a reputable expert in that field.
